My name is Ian Bechard, and I am a passionate cinematographer, editor, and photographer based in Florida. I recently graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Digital Media Production, where I immersed myself in the craft of visual storytelling.

Throughout my time at FSU, I worked on numerous short film projects—both student-led and independent. These experiences refined my technical skillset, strengthened my creative voice, and solidified my love for the filmmaking process. Cinematography and editing remain the areas where I feel most at home and where I aspire to make a lasting impact.

I also spent a year and a half working professionally as a school photographer, capturing students from Pre-K through 12th grade. This experience expanded my abilities into portrait photography, sports coverage, event documentation, and professional posed photoshoots—giving me a well-rounded perspective behind the lens.

One of my long-term motivations is to become a travel photographer and videographer. I love exploring new places, experiencing different cultures, and witnessing the beauty of nature firsthand. My goal is to share those moments with others—capturing the world’s stories and landscapes in ways that inspire people to see the world differently.

At the core of all my work is a belief in the transformative power of film and imagery. I aspire not only to be a storyteller, but an innovator—pushing the boundaries of visual narrative to create work that resonates deeply. As I continue this journey, my mission is to explore the limitless potential of cinema and photography, and to use visual storytelling as a catalyst for inspiration, connection, and meaningful change.
